Important Updates Coming Your Way

To all our valued clients and team members, I’m writing to inform you of upcoming adjustments to our Service and Rental Rates. We’re constantly striving to align our offerings with the needs of our customers and the demands of the market. In pursuit of this goal, we’re implementing new rates effective March 1, 2024.

Service Rates Update

Our IT team is diligently working to integrate the new Service Rates into our system. We understand the importance of transparency and accessibility of this information. Thus, we have ensured that the updated Service Rates sheet is readily available in multiple shared locations within our network:

We encourage all relevant departments to familiarize themselves with these updates to ensure seamless implementation and customer communication.

Rental Rates Sheet Update

The updated Rental Rates sheet is currently being finalized and will be distributed by Monday. This delay is due to the need for system-generated price adjustments, ensuring accuracy and consistency across our offerings. We appreciate your patience as we finalize these adjustments.

Internal Rate Evaluations

In addition to the public-facing rate adjustments, we are also in the process of evaluating our Internal rates. Expect an update on this front within the next five days. We’re committed to maintaining a balance that supports both our operational efficiency and our commitment to offering competitive pricing.

No Changes to Planned Maintenance Pricing

We want to assure our customers that there will be no changes to our Planned Maintenance pricing at this time. Our goal is to continue providing exceptional service without additional financial burden on our clients.

Reflecting on the Generac Industrial Dealership Meeting: A Commitment to Excellence

A Gathering of Minds

A few weeks ago, my colleague Chris Smith and I had the privilege of attending an exclusive Generac Industrial Dealership meeting. With an intentional limitation of two representatives per dealership, the aim was clear from the outset: to foster meaningful dialogue directly with Generac’s leadership, rather than sit through a series of presentations. This intimate setting proved to be a fertile ground for discussions centered on improvement and innovation.

Quality at the Forefront

The resounding theme of the meeting was quality. Generac’s dedication to enhancing this aspect was palpable, a commitment not just spoken but demonstrated. Their resolve to elevate the standards by which they operate was a reassuring takeaway for all in attendance.

A Voice for the Dealerships

It might come as news to some that I am a proud member of the Generac Dealership Council, established in 2023. Our mandate is to aggregate the collective insights and suggestions from all dealerships, channeling them into actionable areas of focus for Generac. Last year, our concerted efforts zeroed in on several critical areas:

  • Enhancing Lead Time Accuracy: Urging immediate communication on any schedule changes to manage expectations better.
  • Elevating Quality and Responsiveness: Generac has expanded its Quality Control team in response to field issues, aiming for swift and effective resolutions.
  • Reducing Technical Support Wait Times: A personal mission of mine, which has led to increased control numbers and a bolstered support staff to better manage inquiries.

Investing in the Future

Generac’s investment in the industrial sphere of their business remains robust and unwavering. The unveiling of a new production plant, expanded engineering test bays, and the introduction of new products underscore their commitment to innovation. This month’s expansion of the TX transfer switches lineup is a testament to their forward-thinking approach.

A Celebratory Conclusion

The meeting culminated in an awards ceremony that filled us with pride as Clifford Power Systems was frequently mentioned among the nominees. Our victory in securing the “Outstanding Product Support” award was not just a win for us but a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Service Team. This accolade reflects our team’s relentless pursuit of excellence in warranty service, national sales commissioning, and account servicing.

This recognition, previously earned in 2010 and 2019, is a milestone that underscores our enduring commitment to quality and service excellence.
